Based on customer surveys, deep technical expertise and strong market trends OPNS decided to create a standard, industrialized and easy-to-deploy Data Center architecture that uses virtualization to better fit customer needs.

Our ViCCi® solution (Virtual intelligent Computing Center infrastructure) comes pre-cabled, fully tested, thoroughly documented and ready-to-service. Proposed in several versions to accommodate medium & large companies, it offers:

• Simplicity: because we already tested the configuration, documented how to install, configure and operate it, and because we provide migration templates, ViCCi® has no equivalent in simplicity of deployment and of use. Also the underlying hardware technologies do provide their own simplicity-layer through easy-to-use and intuitive configuration interfaces.

• Robustness: ViCCi® is designed to be as robust as a Data Center should be, implementing industry best-practices, built with state-of-the-art hardware & software components and using redundancy when appropriate.

• Quick integration: all what ViCCi® needs is some floor space, power & network connections and TCPIP configuration. Once those basic requirements are fulfilled your ViCCi® Data Center is ready to host any Linux and/or MS-Windows server workload you might have.

• Easy migration: by using industry-standard virtualization technologies (VMware®, XEN® or Hyper-V®) your existing servers can be hosted on (converted to) ViCCi® quickly and efficiently, with almost no re-configuration neither re-installation.

• Cost-effectiveness: unlike custom-made Data Center designs, ViCCi® is pre-built and pre-tested. As such you don't pay high consulting fees for your own proprietary design & integration services. To the contrary you benefit from economy of scale ViCCi® is built upon, its proven design and from our long expertise in the matter.

For maximum customer flexibility we designed ViCCi® from the ground up to fully support both MS-Windows and Linux based virtual servers, to be expendable for split (dual computer rooms) Data Centers and to be able to offer both cold and hot backups capabilities of hosted servers.
